Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract exists once we email you to confirm it, not when you pay — this protects both of us if something is out of stock or mispriced.

We reserve the right to decline an order. If we do, we'll refund you in full and explain why.

If a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, say — we'll contact you before proceeding rather than either honouring or cancelling it silently.

You confirm that you own the rights to any artwork you send us, or have permission to use it. We won't reproduce third-party logos or copyrighted designs without evidence of permission, and we may ask for it.

On custom work we email a visual proof before cutting. Approving it means approving the spelling, layout and dimensions shown. Once approved, we cut what was on the proof.

We keep your artwork only as long as needed to complete the order and handle any reprint, then delete it.

We cannot cut or engrave PVC, vinyl, polycarbonate, or any material of unknown plastic content. These release chlorine gas when lasered, which damages the machine and harms the operator. If you send us an item made of these, we'll return it uncut.

If you send your own item for engraving, you accept that lasering is irreversible and that natural materials can behave unpredictably. We test where we can, but we can't guarantee an heirloom against every outcome. Tell us if a piece is irreplaceable and we'll advise honestly before proceeding.

Prices shown on this site exclude VAT and exclude delivery unless stated. VAT at the standard rate is calculated and added at checkout once you have entered your details, so the amount you pay is higher than the figure shown in your bag. The checkout total is the final one. Laser Engraving London is a trading name of Dotnpix Media Ltd (company no. 08054521), VAT registration no. GB 360 4320 35, and it is that company you contract with when you place an order. A VAT invoice is available on request.

Payment is taken at checkout via Shopify; we never see or store your card details. We will never email you asking to pay by bank transfer to different account details — if you receive such a message, it did not come from us.

Quotes from the instant quote tool are estimates based on the information you provide. We confirm a firm price by email before charging anything.

We're liable for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We're not liable for business losses, or for loss you couldn't reasonably have expected.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
