Engraved signs & decorations

These are the pieces that go on a wall, a door or a table and stay there, so the mark has to survive whatever the room does to it. Slate engraves a chalk white that reads from across a room; acrylic cuts to a flame-polished edge that needs no finishing; wood burns a warm brown that deepens with age.

Outdoor pieces are worth a word. Slate and acrylic both take weather without complaint. Wood will silver over a season or two unless it is oiled, which is not a fault but is worth knowing before it goes on a gatepost.

Most of this is cut to shape rather than bought in, so a size or a shape we do not list is usually still possible. Send a sketch and we will price it.
